Digest April 2020

Greetings! It’s unbelievable to be writing a digest again — has really another month passed? πŸ™€

April plunged the ROI4CIO team into a sea of cares, while the spring was only seen from the window. But don't think of these as the complaint — these cares included assistance in the emergency of setting up a remote work: we were creating new categories and comparison tables. All the month we’ve been trying to ease the situation that business faced with the transition to quarantine and remote work.

Also in April the site completely switched to the new design πŸš€ — now it is easier to navigate. Although, it happened, as always, not as smoothly as we would like 😈.

Now our month represented in numbers. On the site appeared:
  • 55 companies. This month these are vendors of a virtual events platforms, telemedicine solutions, software development companies and IT services providers.
  • 47 IT-products. Here are diverse platforms for corporate planning and conducting virtual events, solutions for remote medical consulting and diagnostics, enterprise distance work and file synchronization.
  • 1 deployment. Forcepoint Web Security for Healthcare — the solution needed to deal with security dilemma in the hospital: how to safely embrace new technology without putting the hospital chain’s patient database at risk.
  • 4 categories:
Virtual Event Platforms — a virtual event, also known as an online event, is an interactive gathering that happens on the internet. Unlike in-person events, virtual ones aren't restricted to a single location;

Network Visualization — the practice of creating visual depictions of connected data. Network visualization is used to identify relationships between disparate data points on a network, which can improve root cause analysis, performance visibility;

Cyber Security Training and Simulation — a powerful tool for CISOs and SOC managers to accurately simulate their network and security tools within a dynamic IT, or OT environment;

Telemedicine — distribution of health-related services and information via electronic information and telecommunication technologies. It allows long-distance patient and clinician contact, care, advice, reminders, education, intervention, monitoring, and remote admissions.

4 analytical comparison tables were created:

Virtual Event Platforms

Telemedicine

File Synchronization and Sharing Software

Collaborative Applications

Hopefully in the next digest we will celebrate the end of the spring and of the quarantine together, and will be starting to slowly return to normal life. In the meantime, take care of yourself and the loved ones and wash your hands thoroughly with soap.
Meet us here in May! 🌸
